“I started my business in Yiwu，” said Lin Ailing shyly . Lin used to work as a sales manager in a Malaysian company . “I lived a peaceful life with my salary at that time .”In 2003，products made in China emerged in Malaysian market . Her friends told her they were from Yiwu .“What kind of place is Yiwu？”Lin became very curious about

this city .“I asked my friend who opened a company in Yiwu to take me there，”she said .

In September of 2003，Lin came to Yiwu . “When I came to Yiwu International Trade Mart for the first time，looking at the busy transportation and people running for their businesses，I referred to Yiwu as a promising and lively commercial city，”Lin said

One week later，Lin went back t o Malaysia with an idea taking shape in her mind .“My Malaysian friend told me Yiwu has a l o t of business opportunities . So I started to think of doing business here . ” Lin came to Yiwu again before long . “I have not left Yiwu since then，” Lin said .
